1. Introduction The development of virtual instruments, automated test benches, control and monitoring systems is an urgent engineering task. A significant reduction in development time can be achieved using a modular architecture, both at the software and hardware level [1]. Using the visual SCADA programming environment ZETView [2] allows you to significantly reduce the time for creating ready-made projects due to the presence of a large set of ready-made measurement and control modules, from which you can build projects of any complexity. Consider the implementation of the stepper motor control process using the visual programming environment SCADA ZETView and digital devices of the ZETSENSOR series [3], interacting over the CAN bus. The choice of the bus is due to its high noise immunity from electromagnetic interference and noise typical of industrial production conditions. 2. Hardware Description The main hardware element of the system is the ZET 7176 interface converter, which is connected to a personal computer via the Ethernet network protocol and provides connection of digital sensors with the CAN interface to a single network structure [4].
