The Turkish Solid Mechanics Group organized the 4th International Workshop on Plasticity, Damage, and Fracture of Engineering Materials (IWPDF 2025), held in Istanbul from 24 to 26 September and chaired by Prof. Tuncay Yalcinkaya. The event brought together over 100 in-person participants and more than 50 online attendees, featuring highly engaging presentations in the fields of plasticity, damage, and fracture mechanics. A total of 330 authors from 40 countries contributed to the Book of Abstracts, which will be published by ESIS Publishing House and will include 120 selected abstracts. The workshop featured both single and parallel sessions and was streamed online. Presentations from online contributors were broadcast on the official YouTube channel. Following peer review, the accepted papers will be published in Procedia Structural Integrity with the support of the European Structural Integrity Society (ESIS).
