On October 29 in Shanghai, China, a cooperation agreement was signed between the China Structural Integrity Consortium, chair Professor Shan-Tung Tu, East China University of Science and Technology, and Russian National Group on Fracture, chair Professor Valery Shlyannikov, Federal Research Center “Kazan Scientific Center of Russian Academy of Sciences”. Scholars and specialists from China, Russia, and the United States participated in the signing ceremony.

Serbian national group (DIVK) was focused on organization of the 1 st BECCSI which is already reported here. Other activities included publication of the OA Journal Structural Integrity and Life, which is now ranked as Q3 eSCI and organization of the Seminar dedicated to jubilees of a few prominent DIVK members. Our young colleague Lazar Jeremic was awarded as the best young researcher at IGF28/MedFratc3 conference in Catania for the paper "Final verdict - pressure vessel with unacceptable defects after 27 years of exploitation".
