The main factors of the influence of gas and oil manifestations on open gushing on the components of the environment are established and structured. It is shown that the main methodological point in overcoming the consequences of accidents of this type should be their prevention at the design stages. The main types of environmental hazards that occur during emergency oil and gas fountains have been identified. This allows to assess and analyze the consequences of the occurrence of GOWM and OF.
