Figure 8 shows the behavior of the specimens reinforced with hemp fiber fabrics positioned 0 cm, 1cm and a combination of 0cm and 1 cm from the bottom of the beam. The results confirm the benefit of adding hemp fiber fabrics to the mortar because when placed in the correct position they increase the ultimate load. 3.4. Failure modes The failure modes were observed they are the flexural modes (see Fig. 9). It should be noted that in the specimens reinforced with fiber fabrics placed at 1 cm, the crack is initially vertical, and after 1 cm, it is slightly inclined.
