Based on proof pressure test, test article was subjected to pressure cycling tests. The instrumentation scheme and strain gauge mounting locations were kept same for pressure cycling tests. The testing sequence and pressurization scheme for pressure cycling tests followed is as shown in table-4. The test consisted of 8 MEOP and 12 proof pressure cycles. After pressurizing to MEOP and proof pressure values following the pressurization scheme, the test article was depressurized to ambient (starting) pressure which marked completion of 1 cycle and the same was repeated for specified no. of cycles.
