It is observed that there is no significant progression in the hysteresis loops up to 15 mm displacement, as shown in Figure 15. Ratcheting is observed at 18 mm displacement and stabilizes from 15 th cycle. Ratcheting at 21 mm displacement stabilizes from 19 th cycle. The ratcheting strain with number of cycles for the displacements considered are compared in Figure 16. The ratcheting strain is higher at higher displacement. The rate of ratcheting strain (slope) is higher at higher displacements.
