2. Methodology At first, a survey was conducted to the board of mechanical transmission and rolling bearings focusing on type of fretting damages, concerned parts, materials, surface, heat treatment and lubrication used (Amar, 2021). It appears that twelve major industrial of the mechanical industry was interested in this study from the fields of rolling bearings, industrial gearboxes and electric motors.
