by Filiera) and inside the historical centres, IHC, of L’Aquila and of the other 56 municipalities (parametric model managed by the Special Offices USRA and USRC, respectively). The analytical model involved buildings outside historical centre. The parametric model mainly involved buildings in aggregate, BA, located inside historical centre; the funding requests involved Aggregate Minimum Units (AMU’s) made of one or more buildings with the same or different usability rating. The analysis of applications for funding of analytical and parametric model allowed to collect data on 5,608 masonry buildings OHC of L’Aquila, 547 AMU’s (1,1705 buildings) IHC of L’Aquila and 827 AMU (3,903 buildings) IHC of other municipalities. The data related to usability rating, surface, valuable elements together with repair and strengthening costs have been analysed. The data clearly show that significant extra costs need to be accounted in the reconstruction process to preserve, restore and mitigate the seismic risk of historic-architectural valuable elements, buildings with landscape interest or buildings of cultural interest. The mean unitary costs of AMUL’Aquila and AMUOther are greater than those allocated for buildings OHC by percentage factors 133% and 120% for AMU with buildings with valuable elements, 168% and 240% for AMU with building belonging to different categories; 164% for AMU with building with landscape interest and 221% and 189% for buildings of cultural interest. Concerning the ordinary buildings, the cost is more or less the same OHC and IHC.Furthermore, the AMU costs are influenced by the percentage of building surface within the AMU with E usability rating.
