Fig. 5 -Mean repair and global strengthening costs of AMU located (a) IHC L’Aquila and (b) IHC Other as a function of percentage of building surface within the AMU with E usability rating.

Concerning of the mono-rating AMU, the mean repair and global strengthening intervention cost of buildings OHC on average was lower than those of AMU IHCL’Aquila and IHCOther due to the influence of valuable elements of buildings IHC with respect to buildings OHC. The mean cost ratio between grants related to funding requests OHC and IHCOther was 1.30. The mean cost ratio between grants related to funding requests OHC and IHCL’Aquila was 3.65. In order to better understand the influence of valuable elements of buildings IHC with respect to OHC buildings, it’s interesting to analyse only for the 439 mono-rating AMU the cost as a function of the AMU category (i.e. AMU made of ordinary buildings; buildings with historic-architectural valuable elements; building with landscape interest building of cultural interest allocated or made of building belonging to different categories) [see Fig. 6]. The mean unitary costs of AMUL’Aquila and AMUOther are greater than those allocated for buildings OHC by percentage factors 133% and 120% for AMU with buildings with valuable elements, 168% and 240% for AMU with building belonging to different categories; 164% for AMU with building with landscape interest and 221% and 189% for buildings of cultural interest. Concerning the ordinary buildings, the cost is more or less the same OHC and IHC.
