The experimental test performed on the unstrengthened arch exhibits a peak load of 32 kN. The main collapse mechanism referred to the load peak occurs with the formation of 4 cracking hinges. In the post-peak phase, the mechanism remains the same until the vertical displacement imposed by the actuator reaches the value of 5 mm. After this point, the mechanism evolves into a 3 cracking hinges and a joint shear-sliding failure. The shear-sliding failure
