The material has a porous structure with bud-like agglomerations and multiple gaps for the specimen with a diameter of = 6.2 . It is observed that these gaps have a higher density and size in the case of specimens with a larger diameter = 8.0 . 4. Conclusions From the experimental analysis for the magnesium alloy AM50A it was found that the fatigue life decreases by increasing the size of the test piece due to the increase in the volume of defects in the material. Magnesium alloy castings are very useful in technical applications, but have a fairly large dispersion of fatigue life due to casting defects (holes, holes, bumps, stains, inclusions, etc.). From the metallographic analysis of the rupture sections it is observed
