The displacement value will decrease as the point is farther away from the center of the plate. It can be seen that the effect of geometric variation on the collision response is very influential. It can be seen that at time t = 0.01 s, Displacement is at its highest point. The global deformation then begins. When the face sheet reaches the maximum deflection, the whole plate vibrates and returns to the static state.

Von Mises stress distribution at maximum displacement for energy-absorbing structures of different geometries is shown in Figure 8 as a value and Figure 9 as a snapshot of the von Mises stress contours. It is clear from this image that the stress pattern of each panel is very different, depending on the interaction between the bottom layer and the core. The reflected wave ring on the panel is affected by the panel boundary effect, the square reflected wave ring on the panel is affected by the panel boundary effect, and the reflected wave ring on the panel is related to the blast wave generated by the center panel. Then due to the explosion generated by the ConWep model, the air blast is concentrated at the center of the panel and gradually spreads across the panel. As can be seen from these profiles, the honeycomb exhibits better stress distribution across the panel compared to the stronger forces on the other panels.
