3. Results This section presents experimental data on the dependence of stress on deformation of specimens under various programs of kinematic loading. The diagram of uniaxial tension deformation of a thin-walled cylindrical specimen (specimen no. 1) is shown in Fig. 2.

Figure 3 shows the measurement data on the lateral surface of the thin-walled tubular Al-Mg alloy specimen no. 1 at two times of deformation, the diagram of which is shown in Fig. 2. Positions a, c shows the results of measuring the longitudinal strain rate, positions b, d – longitudinal deformations. The figure 3 clearly demonstrates the manifestation of the Portevin-Le Chatelier effect under conditions of uniaxial loading.
