5. Convergence Analysis Convergence of finite element solutions has been conducted on ten mesh sizes, resulting in a range of 7k - 1.3M elements. Meshing results and value parameters can be seen in Fig. 5. The smaller the elements used, then the result will actually be closer to the factual value, but it will take a long time to calculate. Based on convergence analysis, the mesh used in this study is 4 mm, because it produces 90,322 elements with consideration of the time required for one simulation in less than 20 seconds.

6. Fatigue Characteristic Stress equivalent von-Mises ( S eqv ) can be seen in Fig. 6. As Shown in the notched part there is a stress concentration of 142.04 MPa. This stress value is still below the yield of stress material at 250 MPa, so it is very relevant if using the stress life approach to predict fatigue life.
