(2) The states of the premium connection are tension on one side and compression on the other side when exerted by bending load. The distribution of Von Mises stress and contact pressure on the sealing surface are similar, both are smaller on the tension side and greater on the compression side. (3) Temperature has a great influence on the stress of premium connections. When designing or selecting premium connections, the influence of temperature should be taken into consideration. (4) After a complete thermal cycle test, the Von Mises stress and contact pressure of the premium connection sealing surface are slightly decreased, and the connection can still maintain good connection and sealing ability, but the integrity of the connection after long-term alternating loads needs to be evaluated seriously. (5) The finite element analysis method can effectively simulate the load conditions in ISO 13679 test, which can be taken as the substitution of physical experiment.
