6. Conclusions A three-dimensional finite element model of a premium connection was established. The loads were applied according to the ISO 13679 CAL IV series B test and thermal cycle test. The integrity of the connection was simulated and analysed, and some conclusions are drawn from the research. (1) Bending load has a great influence on the Von Mises stress and contact pressure of premium connection.
