5.2 Shock Analysis Shock analysis was carried out on the assy. mounting bracket with the specification of 50 g (18 m s, half sine, and 50 g = 9810 * 50 = 490500 m/s 2 ) in each direction of three mutually perpendicular axis. The shock load in three directions (X - direction, Y - direction and Z - direction) are considered as separate load cases. Figure 3 (a) shows the shock load, applied on Z axis with gravity of 50 g (490500 m/s 2 ) on the amplitude curve (Amp-1.) which is for the shock load of 50g. Figure 3 (b) shows the shock spectrum curve for the amplitude 50g applied for 18 m s and it is a half sine wave curve for Time Vs Amplitude.
