The base and the first order are made of calcareous stone; the rest of the building of tuf from Maddaloni covered with bricks, while only the cornice is made of travertino marble and the dome is covered with majoliche. (Figures 1 - 3). The bell tower is about 49.12 m high, and has six main portions with both square and circular cross-section. Table 1 shows the dimensions of each portion, and the material by which it is made (Figure 3). The construction began on May 13, 1781 and was completed in 1790. Because of the damage caused by lightning on February 12, 2010, a restoration design was drafted by the architect Mariano Nuzzo; and the interventions ended on 2012 (Figure 4). The restoration site of the Basilica del Corpus Domini in Maddaloni has involved the accurate work of restorers extended to well 22 storeys scaffolding. The interventions have interested numerous materials such as smalted majolicas calcareous stones and plaster fitted as fake adobe brick.
