Moreover, a parametric assessment is made, by varying the wall thickness and considering any additional load, due to a non-pushing roofing for example. In this way, nine sub-samples of buildings are obtained, as shown in Table 2. Fig. 3 shows the comparison between capacity and demand for the nine sub-samples obtained. It should be noted that the collapse mechanism is not verified only for the sub-samples having load-bearing walls of low thickness, while the capacity increases as the masonry thickness and the additional load increase.
