elements are usually sufficient. This choice significantly affects modelling time and computational efficiency, leading to optimized solutions without compromising the quality of the results. It can be stated that model from shell elements is a bit more flexible than the model using solid elements for concrete slab of the pavement. Its disadvantage is that it can model the time course of the deflection at only one point. Presented findings should be verified by experimental measurements at controlled boundary conditions.
