Figure 3. Natural zeolite X-ray diffractogram The chemical composition of the ZN was obtained by XRF. Table 2 shows the percentages of the components expressed as oxides. Its main components are SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , and Na 2 O. The material was ground for 120 minutes in a ball mill to reduce its particle size. After grinding, a d 50 = 30.4 μ m and rounded particles were obtained as shown in Figure 4.

2.3. Synthesis of NaY nanozeolite The synthesis of nanozeolite was carried out by the sol-gel process, using the seeding method, which involves three main steps: Seeding gel, Feedstock gel y Over all gel (Ahmedzeki, Yilmaz, & Al-Tabbakh, 2016) , (IZA , 2016) . The materials used as precursors were NaAlO 2 , Na 2 SiO 3 , and NaOH. H 2 O was used as a solvent. Table 3 shows the molar ratio of Si/Al, the type of material and the general composition to produce this material.
