The chemical composition of MK was obtained by XRF. Table 1 shows the percentages of the components expressed as oxides. Its main components are SiO 2 and Al 2 O 3 , present in a proportion of more than 90%. The MK was analyzed by SEM to observe its morphology, Figure 2 shows the micrograph in which elongated and irregular particles can be observed. Table 1. Chemical Composition of MK .

2.2. Natural zeolite (ZN) The natural zeolite was obtained from the San Francisco mine, located in S.L. Potosí (Mexico), which is dedicated to the extraction and sale of clinoptilolite zeolite. The characterization of the material was carried out by means of XRD, which is shown in Figure 3, observing that the main characteristic peaks are present at angles 10°, 23° and 30° (Luna, López, Mercado, Camacho, & León, 2015). It was also found to have an amorphous halo between 15 and 35°.
