3.3. Common language The previous steps constitute the base for the cooperation of the actors among the Guidelines Levels. After the creation and assignation of the folders and sub-folders, it is possible, as a first analysis of the bridge, to fill the inventory form (Level 0). This kind of information are based on census data and previous interventions that are in owner’s archive. Consequently, technicians and bridge owner must collaborate for a complete inventory, sharing the access to the census activity. When information input depends on many actors, it is important that all of them dialog using the same language and it is fundamental to catalogue elements in a unique way (Zonta et al., 2005). For this reason, in the platform there is a simplified model of the bridge with a defined reference system on the base of the defined origin that can correspond, for example, with the progressive length. Thus, first and second abutments are numbered, such as all the piles and the spans.
