The research results showed that between the parameters and wear intensity І there is a dependency:

With decreasing value intensity of wear І increases, and upon reaching a critical level, the friction system switches from normal mechanical and chemical wear to the seizure mode (volumetric destruction), which is accompanied by a disproportionate increase in wear intensity (Fig. 8).
