Due to the corrosive effect of formation water and other factors, emergencies may occur that will lead to contamination of water horizons with oil-containing technological fluids. Corrosion tests of casing pipes made of P 110 steel were carried out in 6 types of formation waters. The method of environmental mapping is proposed to determine the zones of influence of petroleum production on the environment. On the example of the Karaykoziv deposit, the boundaries of the zones of influence, fall on nature conservation areas. In the future, it is necessary to conduct environmental mapping measures for other nature conservation areas located near natural oil and gas to minimize environmental risks. © 2024 T he Authors.
