Based on the simulation results, the system's total energy was calculated as the sum of the material point's kinetic energy and the SMA wire's deformation energy.

The energy transformation mechanism during the first half period is depicted in Fig. 9. Considering the peculiarity of the shape memory alloy's behavior, specifically, the stresses during the martensitic phase transformation are significantly greater than during the austenitic phase transformation. This means more energy is spent on martensitic transformation than returned during austenitic relaxation. The process of energy conversion is shown in Fig. 10.
