At the beginning of the calculation, the system’s total energy is 97.65 J. In Figure 8, it can be observed that with each cycle, the kinetic energy decreases while the accumulated deformation energy increases. However, active energy damping occurs until 2.5 s. This is due to the absence of further growth in pseudoelastic strain in the SMA wire after 2.5 seconds. The change in strain is presented in Fig. 9.
