The energy-absorbing material in the sandwich panels was simulated by the spring-damper connection with the corresponding elastic-viscous characteristics specified above. The resting of the body on the bogies was modelled by rigid connections on the centre plates and side bearers. The finite element model was formed by isoparametric tetrahedra. Their number was 351.885 units, and the number of nodes was 116.577. The results of calculation are shown in Fig. 7 and 8.
