and the thickness of the outer and middle elements in the connections varied. The general view and construction of the test samples are shown in Fig. 1.

Pine wood with an annual ring width of 1-5 mm, without destructive defects and decay, was selected to manufacture wooden elements for all connections. The production of test samples was carried out according to applicable standards (DBN B.2.6-161:2017, Eurocode 5:2004; NDS:2018). The manufactured samples are shown in Fig. 2.
