3.3. Material properties The material used in this study is steel which has a Poisson ratio of 0.3. Based on research by Emami et al. (2013), the mechanical properties of the material used are based on the coupon test based on ASTM E8M-04. The value obtained from the coupon test shows that the shear panel is St12 steel, and the boundary frames are St44 steel according to DIN Standard. The mechanical properties of the steel plates and steel profiles used in the construction of the specimens can be seen in Table 2 and Fig. 4.

Beam Plate

Isotropic hardening is used in the analysis of infill plates, beams, and columns. The plasticity model used is based on the von-Mises yield surface and the associated plastic flow theory (Mohebkhah and Azandariani, 2016). The von Mises yield surface is based on the energy of distortion, which is the most suitable criterion for modelling flexible materials such as steel (Azandariani et al., 2021). The von-Mises yield surface is defined by Eq. (4). = ( − ) − 0 (4) ( − ) = √ 3 2 ( − ) ( − ) (5)
