Finally, it is worth noting that, by using the results of the current simulation, a thermal-stress analysis could be performed so as to predict further results as residual stresses and deformations produced by the process (see Sepe et al. (2021c)) or estimate the fatigue life of the welded joint (see Giannella et al. (2018)).
