… a chance to visit and rest at the picturesque islands of the Saronic Gulf that are just a stone's throw away from the city’s port of Piraeus. The six-day conference will be an excellent environment for participants to network with international structural integrity leaders, facilitating productive discussions and exchange of diverse views and information among attendees. As always, ESIS pays special attention to young researchers: their participation is supported financially and a competition for the Best Student Papers Awards is organized. Plenary and keynote lectures, Special Focus Symposia, Parallel Technical Sessions, Poster Sessions and Industry Panel Discussions will embrace all aspects of Structural Integrity and scientific research tools, ranging from purely analytical ones to numerical, experimental and hybrid approaches, covering the broadest variety of structural materials.
