TC16: FINITE FRACTURE MECHANICS The NewFrac workshop, organized by Prof. Pedro P. Camanho (Chair) and Prof. Albertino Arteiro (Co-chair) of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, took place at the University of Porto, Portugal from May 7th to 10th, 2024. The workshop brought together the computational fracture mechanics community interested in Finite Fracture Mechanics and Phase Field Models in a unique event, fostering exchange of knowledge, expertise and new ideas. The combination of many young PhD students and senior researchers encouraged lively discussions on state-of-the-art topics of research. A group photo of a part of the participants is shown below.
