Fig. 5a shows the distribution of accumulated damage through the wall thickness in the zone of the notch root. For a quantitative analysis of the damage distribution, the damage parameter was normalized to the maximum value of damage parameter under specified combination of tension, internal pressure and torsion, which is 5.41%. It should also be noted that the same nature of damage accumulation is observed with combinations of Compression, Internal pressure and Compression, Internal pressure, Torsion.
