2.1. Damage and cracking mapping Firstly, visual inspections were performed to assess the visible damage on the surface of the beams caused by corrosion. Eleven drawings were created, one for each beam, showing the geometry, features and two side sections. The indications of top and bottom reinforcement, position, and amount of concrete spalling, as well as position and trajectory of cracks were shown. An example of these drawings is provided in Fig. 2, for the PC beam #11. Secondly, after examining the beam drawings and recording the location and identification of cracks, cracking maps were created for all beams. The maps, see Fig. 3 for beam #11, report the opening of the cracks, which were differentiated different intervals.

a b Fig. 3 PC beam #11: (a) Sketch to identify the location and crack openings, (b) identification and measuring of cracks in situ. 2.2. In-situ measurements for corrosion evaluation The following corrosion measurements were carried out: 1. The potential ( E corr ) corrosion mapping of all the beams were performed using a Gecor 10 in-situ corrosion equipment, see Andrade et al. (2012), Rebolledo et al. (2023), Torres Martín et al. (2022); Vennesland et al. (2007). A Cu/CuSO 4 electrode was used following the UNE 112083 standard on the lateral surfaces of the beams at 18 points, each 30 cm apart, by performing two measurements, at the two sides, placed at the level of strands.
