story drift ratio (IDR MAX ) must be lower than 0.3%, and the element plastic deformation must be lower than the yield deformation; for DL, the IDR MAX must be lower than 0.5%, and the element plastic deformation must be lower than the yield deformation; SD, the IDR MAX must be lower than 1.5%, and the element plastic deformation must be lower than the element deformation capacity defined according to (ASCE, 2017).

As evident from the results of the pushover analyses, the structure demonstrates a notably similar behaviour in both principal directions, exhibiting nearly identical stiffness and strength values. The obtained capacity displacements are relatively modest, this indicates that the structural system lacks significant plastic excursions. The pushover curve is crucial for applying the capacity spectrum method (Vidic et al., 1994), enabling the determination of building response for earthquakes with a specified spectral shape. The safety factors were evaluated in the Acceleration Displacement Response Spectrum (ADRS) space (Fajfar 1999, Fajfar 2000), for the investigated limit state. In particular, the ratios between the peak ground acceleration of the elastic spectrum of seismic demand (PGA ,d ) and the peak ground acceleration of the capacity spectrum (PGA ,c ) are summarized in Table 1.
