Internal plinths are isolated, whereas external ones are linked by RC beams to support the 40 cm thick masonry infilled external cladding. 2.2. Material properties The mechanical characterization of materials has been provided by AIRES Engineering (Zizi et al. 2021). In particular, a wide investigation campaign has allowed for achieving the maximum level of knowledge (LC3) and, consequently, it was possible to use a confidence factor equal to 1.00. Table 1 shows the main experimental results with reference to the main elements constituting the whole structure. In particular, the average values of the yield and ultimate stress are reported for steel members and steel bolts and nuts, while the cylindrical and cubic resistances are indicated for the concrete walls.
