measured values be processed by the moving average methods so that serious damage can be detected as early as possible. In this study, the simple moving average method was experimentally applied to the accumulated monitoring data. The observation of changes in “characteristic deflection“ by the simple moving average method has not revealed any significant sharp changes until now. As a result, it can be concluded that the moving average method is a suitable method for serious deterioration (damage) detection in the long-term observation.
