influenced by the inclusion of more or less sensitive mode shapes. The selection of the corresponding eigenmodes in relation to selected forms of damage is therefore a further research question. Similarly, the AIC time shift estimation requires further adaption to low amplitude signals and more sensors are required in future experiments for better localization and signal energy estimates. Building on the existing database, further damage detection methods will be considered and compared in the subsequent work. The application of the methods presented here and other methods on large structures or buildings in operational condition is also planned for the future.
