In the following, the influence of uncertain scatter of the input parameters on the fidelity of the simulation prediction is investigated. For this reason, the MCS results with the scatter estimated from the literature are compared with a MCS with reduced epistemic uncertainty by using the experimental measured data from Table 3 and Table 4 for the input parameters. This comparison is illustrated in Figure 8 for the most relevant 1st eigenfrequency f 1 and the fatigue lifetime of hotspot 1 for all three variants.
