In the first case of the validation, we compare the maximum displacement from our model (Figure 1) for the different volume fraction indexes with the maximum displacements from the studies (Belarbi, et al., (2022)), (Koutoati, et al., (2021)), (Li, et al., (2019)). The results are plotted (Figure 4) for the maximum deflection in the y direction for the sandwich beam. It is observed that our results coincide with the results of previous studies (Belarbi, et al., (2022)), (Koutoati, et al., (2021)), (Li, et al., (2019)).
