central section of the disk where the constrained conditions are realized. At the outer section, close to the free surface, the scatter in the residual stress is narrower. To make a quantitative comparison of the results obtained in our three simulations, we plotted the graphs of σ rr along two lines indicated in Fig.2: axial line and edge line. Figure 3 shows these graphs.

First of all, it should be emphasized that the results of the first simulation (when we adopt that all properties do not vary with temperature and are equal to the values corresponding to the temperatures of 20 °C) differ significantly from the results of the other simulations, while the difference between the results of the second and third simulations is comparatively small. Second, along the axial line, only compressive stresses are observed in the middle layer. In other layers along the axial line and in all layers along the edge line, both compressive and tensile stresses exhibit. Third, the maximal tensile residual stress along the edge line is 20 % smaller than along the axial line. The respective difference for the compressive stress is up the 40 %.
