Figs. 15 – 20 show the comparisons of the analytical solution with the reconstructed coefficients of the higher order terms of the Williams series expansion and the distributions obtained by molecular dynamics simulations. Fig. 15 shows the stress tensor components for atoms belong to the circle in the vicinity of the crack tip (the first red circle shown in fig.13). Fig. 16 shows the results stress tensor components for the ring are shown in the first row of fig. 13 (right). Fig. 17 shows the same distributions of the stress tensor components but for the ring area shown in the second row of fig. 13. One can see more numbers of atoms belong to the ring area. Figs. 18-20 show the results for Mixed Mode loading for 0.5 e M = . All the comparison are made for the steps of simulations when the elastic behaviour is dominated and the plastic effects can be ignored.
