formance, which could be improved significantly by their combination. Especially the predictions resulting from the second hybrid modeling strategy yielded consistently better fatigue damage approximations than all other variants. In further studies, this approach should be scaled to setups with a higher number of sensors in order to test its lim itations. Many industrial applications also feature sensors with di ff erent sampling frequencies, which have to be in tegrated into one prediction. Finally, it should be investigated whether the inverse of FP, i.e. the required system actuation to generate a specific response, can be retrieved using this approach.
