First of all, they are designed to support leg towers and place on them additional equipment for cleaning grain. In addition to significant wind loads, grain leg towers is under the actions of vibrations, their own weight and the weight of the grain being transported. The tower receives seismic loads. It is important to determine internal stresses to predict the possible collapse of the specified structure. Another important factor is that the failure of the grain leg tower threatens the food security of a particular region. Also, their construction is caused by necessity of installation of a flight of stairs for service of a head of a leg towers. The height of these structures reaches 40 meters, which requires careful design, manufacturability and installation. Therefore, it is important to accurately calculate the total interaction of several types of loads. Accurate analysis of the obtained data also is necessary to be performed role. © 2022 The Authors. Introduction The development of the agricultural sector has led to the active introduction of new technologies into production. Farmers are increasingly starting to automate their production. One of the systems of mechanization and automation is the line of unloading and moving grain, and the basis of this line is grain leg tower. This is a mechanism that uses a vertical bucket conveyor to move the grain into storage tanks. During its operation, the mechanism creates additional dynamic loads on the base of the structure, namely on the grain leg tower, causing oscillations of the structure by Amabili et al (2000), and Bahadori et al (2015). To improve the prediction of the stability and durability of the structure under the action of seismic loads, we will try to predict 1st Virtual International Conference “In service Damage of Materials: Diagnostics and Prediction” Study of the joint work of the foundations and the spatial tower under the action of dynamic loads Mykhailo Hud*, Natalia Chornomaz, Roman Grytseliak, Denys Baran Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University, Faculty of Engineering of Machines, Structures and Technologies Ternopil, Ukraine Abstract Grain leg towers are special spatial structures that are part of the complex of grain processing equipment.
