In Ansys Workbench, at the very beginning of the solution of the task, the type of engineering analysis is chosen. Then the program inserts the corresponding block in the scheme of the project. This block contains all necessary stages of the analysis. 3. Choosing truss design and load scheme for research A study of the strength of the rafter welded truss according to a typical structural scheme was performed (Fig. 2).

The load diagram identifies the operating mode for the studied design of the welded rafter construction truss. 4. The results of the experimental studies of the truss A computer simulation of the behavior under static loads of 18000 × 3600 mm welded rafter truss made of different angular profiles (specified in the table. 1) was performed.

According to the results of a computer simulation experiment for a welded truss with angular profile dimensions of 80 × 80 × 10 mm the following were obtained: the value of longitudinal deformation, deflection and stresses along the bottom chord of the truss at different load levels on the top chord for the 18000 × 3600 mm truss made of 80 × 80 × 10 mm angle profile under the action of di screte loads both numerically (table 2), full model (Fig. 3) and graphical diagrams (Fig. 4).
