The area of the zone of the direct impact of the field on the Carpathian National Nature Park is 1.67 km 2 (167 ha), which is 0.33% of the total area park. The area of the impact zone of 1 km (outside the field) is 7.31 km 2 (731 ha), which is 1.46% of the total area of the park. The area of the impact zone is 5 km (outside the field) – 72.58 km 2 (7258 ha), which is 14.37% of the total area of the park. The area of the impact zone is 10 km (outside the field) - 180.77 km 2 (18077 ha), which is 35.80% of the total area of the park.

In the future, it is necessary to investigate in more detail the impact of oil and gas production processes on the components of the environment in protected areas, changes in the biodiversity of fauna and flora. Further study of the actual technical condition of metal structures of oil and gas critical infrastructure will allow us to predict their residual life of the safe operation.
