following values of the weighting factor are introduced: 1. 0 for cracks ≤ 0.10 mm; 1. 15 for cracks ≤ 0.20 mm and 1. 30 for cracks ≤ 0.30. 3. Results and Discussion Table 2 shows the results of determining the chemical composition of the surfaced layers. It should be noted that different series of samples were surfaced to different batches of surfacing materials, even if their brand coincided. This was done intentionally increasing the probability of fluctuations in the content of silicon and aluminum in the surfacing materials of the same brand, but different supply batches. Table 1. The relationship between Si and Al content and the hardness of the surfaced metal. Fig. 1-3 show the dependences of the hardness of the cross section of the applied layer; they are maximum HRC max , minimum HRC min and average HRC mid , respectively.
