resistance corresponding to almost linear dependency for tested materials except for the experimental EMH hardfacing. Its wear resistance is practically equal to the HSS, despite significantly lower hardness (by 6 HRC). Moreover, the presence of a complex carbides in the amount of 12 vol. % leads to the increasing of impact-wear resistance of high-manganese austenitic steel up to almost three times, when comparing to the OK 13MN hardfacing.

Worn surfaces after impact-wear tests were examined using SEM (Fig. 5).
